quiet pedestrian area, efficient luggage locker, convenient air conditioning

Bathroom size barely accommodates average adults!!! Showers without doors lead to water all over the floor!!! Additionally, the elevators are too cramped for comfort!!! The hotel's maintenance and renovation could use serious attention!!!

fantastic spot for exploring heraklion's city center attractions

staying in this hotel made my mornings amazing as I strolled to the nearby Morosini Fountain to enjoy a cup of coffee and then later walked just a few steps to the archaeological museum for some fascinating history—definitely a perfect base for exploring the lively streets of Heraklion!

clean, central, convenient

I was impressed by how central this hotel is. I could easily explore the area. The room was incredibly clean, and housekeeping made sure it was refreshed perfectly every day. Plus, having thick curtains meant I enjoyed...  

Great value for the price with an excellent location right in the heart of town. My room had a pleasant balcony overlooking the busy streets, which made for nice people-watching. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job cleaning every day, keeping everything tidy and organized. The bathroom, though recently renovated, was quite small and had a door that almost hit the toilet, making it a bit challenging to navigate. Occasionally, the noise from the hallway echoed through the atriums, making it harder to sleep at times. The breakfast choices could definitely use some improvement, especially for those who prefer non-carb options. They still served breakfast in paper bags, which felt outdated. I think an upgrade to their breakfast setup would make a significant difference in the overall experience.

We loved the hotel's prime location, making it easy for family adventures like visiting the Watercity Waterpark. The staff was very accommodating, especially when they arranged a taxi for our early morning ferry trip....

I enjoyed my stay at El Greco Hotel thanks to its excellent location near all points of interest and the staff's attentive service, which made my visit truly enjoyable. I found my room to be very clean and comfortable, providing a restful retreat after my daily explorations....

Super clean rooms and really friendly staff! ! Location is perfect for exploring the city! The breakfast was solid and definitely helped kickstart my day. Plus, easy access to public transportation!

I stayed in a Standard Twin Room for 3 nights as a solo traveler. The room was really clean, which was awesome. But it was in an old building, so the walls were thin—I could hear neighbors quite easily. The shower was tiny, and I felt a bit cramped in there. It worked well though! For breakfast, it was simple but good value, just don’t expect anything fancy.
